The aim of the Dáil30 website was to allow visitors to find out about the different politicians in their constituency. The approach taken was to create a map of Ireland that was broken up into the different constituencies. The visitor to the website could easily select what part of Ireland they wished to find out different information about.

For the blog section, we implemented WordPress into the design of the website to allow for easy management of articles, including comments at the end of the article.

The same system was implemented to manage the content on all the other pages on the website. For the podcast interviews, we developed a system to allow the owner of the website to manage the podcasts with ease.

Other features included archives for past articles, RSS Feed, and the facility to carry out searches and email subscriptions.

"I was looking for a designer to create a unique website for my dail30.ie project, which required a number of critical elements. Alpha Design offered to take on the project and consulted with me at every stage to ensure that they were creating exactly what I had pictured in my head.

In the end I was left with almost a carbon copy of the site I was looking for, which seamlessly included a blog, an interactive map system and a comprehensive back-end system to make management of the site as straight forward as you can imagine.

Overall my experience with the company was superb. They were approachable, friendly and very eager to do the job right. The one very minor problem I did spot with the finished site was remedied within minutes of me bringing it to their attention and other than that I've had no reason to come back to them since they handed over the finished work!
